The Hawx Prime XTD 130 BOA sits firmly on the downhill side of the touring spectrum. It makes the most sense for a strong skier who wants one boot capable of resort days, sidecountry laps and backcountry objectives without moving to a lightweight touring construction.

Its medium-volume Hawx Prime platform is also an important part of the equation. This is not simply a touring boot with a stiff flex: it is a powerful 100 mm platform with extensive bootfitting potential and a walk mode added for mobility.
