The 2027 Black Diamond Impulse Ti 104 is a directional freeride ski for skiers who want one platform for soft snow, variable conditions and firm resort laps. Why We Like It

The Impulse Ti 104 is a staff favourite at Vertical Addiction. We keep coming back to its dependable, composed feel when fresh snow becomes chopped up, firm or variable.

Consider Another Option If

Choose a narrower ski for a stronger firm-snow focus, a wider shape for deep powder, or a touring-specific design for long climbs.

Ideal For

Freeride and all-mountain skiing
Soft snow and mixed resort conditions
Skiers who prefer a damp, supportive feel
Higher-speed skiing
A wider daily driver for Western resorts

Key Features

Variable-width Titanal layer: Adds damping, power and stability while reinforcing edge hold.
Poplar core: Provides a solid, energetic foundation.
104 mm waist: Offers soft-snow float without pushing the ski into dedicated powder territory.
Rockered tip and tail: Help the ski release and pivot more easily in soft and variable snow.
Camber underfoot: Maintains support and edge engagement on firmer surfaces.
Full ABS sidewalls: Increase torsional stiffness, edge hold and durability.
Recycled-content construction: Uses a 100% recycled race base, 50% recycled sidewalls and a 100% recycled tip inlay made from old ski boots.

Product Description

The Impulse 104 TI is at its best when a resort day includes a little bit of everything, especially soft snow and terrain that invites stronger skiing. The Titanal reinforcement helps calm the ride when conditions become rough, while the rockered shape provides enough freedom to change direction in tighter spaces. Its more substantial, directional feel suits skiers who appreciate support and predictability over an ultra-light or particularly loose freestyle character.
