Cassin X-Dream Ice Axe

The Cassin X-Dream Ice Axe can easily be switched between Dry and Ice positions with a quick turn of the Allen bolt above the grip. It changes the angle of the handle in relation to the angle of the pick for more or less aggressive swing.

The Dry position allow for a more down and out pull because the handle is brought upward. Compared to the Ice Pick, the Dry pick has a more aggressive downward curve at the tip. When you switch you handle in Ice position, your swing will feel more natural in that the handle is dropping downward. The Ice pick, with its flatter beak is made for vertical ice.

Both the Ice and Dry picks come with the same angle providing optimal performance no matter the angle you are working on. With the Cassin X-Dream Ice Axe, a quick turn of the allen bolt above the grip allows the tool to be switched between Dry and Ice positions by changing the angle of the handle in relation to the angle of the pick. They are designed to provide solid sticks with minimal penetration making them the perfect choice for brittle ice and technical mixed terrain.

Climbers can further refine their Cassin X-Dream with the micro-adjustable trigger finger ledge (choose from two inserts that can be flipped over to adjust the position). T-rated Shaft. B-rated Pick.

Vertical Addiction ships orders via Canada Post expedited service with tracking and $100 insurance included. Delivery times vary: 2–3 business days within Alberta/BC, 3–4 days to Saskatchewan/Manitoba, and up to 9 days for eastern provinces. U.S. orders may take 7–15 business days due to customs. Expedited shipping is available upon request.

Returns are accepted on regular-priced items within 10 business days, provided they are unused and in original condition with tags and packaging. Sale items and climbing/safety gear are final sale. Customers must contact the store for a return authorization (RA#) and are responsible for return shipping. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Warranty claims for defective items can be directed to the store for manufacturer processing.

How do you ship?
All the orders are shipped with Canada Post. We use their Expedited service which offers a tracking number and $100 insurance. Depending on your location, you can expect you parcel do take between 2 to 8 business days to get to you once shipped. Here's a rough estimate: 

• Alberta and British-Columbia: 2-3 business days
• Sasakatchewan-Manitoba: 3-4 business days
• Ontario and Quebec: 6-8 business days
• Maritimes: 7-9 business days

If you are ordering from the USA, you can expect between 7 and 15 business days before you see your order. That is because sometimes, the duty clearance takes time to process.

Can I get my order faster?
Yes you can. If you want your order to ship faster, you can leave us a note when you do your purchase online. We will then get a quote from Canada Post and will contact you with the shipping costs. Please note that we are not responsible for shipping costs when you want it expedited. You will have to cover all the cost for this shipping method. 

Do you ship internationally?
We can. If you live outside Canada or the United-States of America, you can send us an email with the item you would like buy and your full address and we can get a quote from different courriers. Once we have an idea of the shipping cost, we will confirm with you the amount and then, we can proceed with phone order.
