The Salewa Alp Mate Winter Mid hiking boot is developed for mountain enthusiasts looking for a reliable mid-cut hiking or snowshoeing boot for the colder months of the year. It has a thick suede and robust stretch fabric upper equipped with a waterproof, breathable membrane to keep out snow, slush and rain. An extensive rubber rand provides additional 360° protection.

This boot is built for winter performance and features the trademark SALEWA® 3F System with robust Kevlar cables for flexibility, heel support and a stable, protective fit. Inside, the warm Alpine Wool lining offers improved thermal insulation, especially in colder conditions, while the built-in durable EVA midsole enables a soft landing and superior shock absorption on harder ground. In addition, the climbing lacing and adaptive eyelets adjust easily to give a secure and precise fit.

Underfoot, the Pomoca™ Winter Hike outsole has a lug pattern studied to give stability, grip and traction on rock, mud and especially snow and ice, while its biomechanical S-Path technology supports natural movement both on and off the trail. Moreover, this boot is a Salewa Committed product with a PFC-free durably water-repellent (DWR) finish that is manufactured according to strict, independently-audited social responsibility standards and fair working conditions.

Returns are accepted on regular-priced items within 10 business days, provided they are unused and in original condition with tags and packaging. Sale items and climbing/safety gear are final sale. Customers must contact the store for a return authorization (RA#) and are responsible for return shipping. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Warranty claims for defective items can be directed to the store for manufacturer processing.

We can. If you live outside Canada or the United-States of America, you can send us an email with the item you would like buy and your full address and we can get a quote from different courriers.
