Salomon Strive 12 GW Ski Bindings

There is a lot to like in how little fuss this binding brings to the ski. The Strive 12 sits low, spreads the load across a wide toe platform and keeps the heel light. The result is a tidy all-mountain setup that feels ready for corduroy, bumps, trees and the inevitable “one more lap.”

Consider Another Option If

Choose another option if you need touring capability, a release range outside 4–12 or compatibility with a boot sole standard beyond Alpine and GripWalk.

• All-mountain and freeride skiing
• Boots with Alpine or GripWalk soles
• A professionally determined DIN setting within 4–12

• LDN Toe: Keeps the boot close to the ski and uses a wide pedal for direct power transfer.
• 47 mm of Toe Elasticity: Provides documented movement before release to help manage impacts.
• Light Three-Part Heel: Reduces bulk and supports easy step-in.
• Automatic Wing and Toe Adjustment: Adapts to the supported adult boot standards.
• Sliding Toe Pedal: Allows lateral movement and re-centring within the release system.

How does it differ from the Strive 14 GW?

The Strive 12 has a 4–12 DIN range and a lighter heel construction; the Strive 14 covers 5–14. A technician should determine which range is appropriate.
