2026 Atomic Hawx Prime 130 S BOA Ski Boots

The Prime 130 S BOA combines a strong 130-flex platform with a versatile medium-volume shape. We like it for skiers who need real support but don't have the narrow foot shape that typically suits a race-inspired low-volume boot.

Consider Another Option If

Choose a softer Prime if you don't consistently need a 130 flex. Skiers with particularly narrow or high-volume feet should also start with the Hawx Ultra or Magna respectively rather than trying to force the Prime into the wrong fit.

• Advanced and expert skiers
• Medium-volume feet
• Powerful all-mountain skiing
• Skiers prioritizing support and precise response

• BOA® Fit System: Micro-adjustable lower-shell closure creates a more uniform wrap over the foot.
• Prolite Construction: Uses targeted reinforcement to provide the structure required for aggressive skiing.
• Mimic Platinum Liner with Power Ankle Lock: Combines heat-moldable fitting potential with additional structure around the ankle and heel.
• Memory Fit: Allows heat customization of the shell and cuff.
• Power Shift 2.0: Provides adjustment of forward lean and flex characteristics.

Who should consider a 130-flex boot?

A 130 flex is generally intended for powerful or technically strong skiers who can consistently flex a stiff alpine boot. Flex numbers are not standardized between manufacturers, so fit and skier mechanics still matter.

What does BOA® replace on this boot?

The BOA® system controls closure of the lower shell, replacing the traditional lower buckles while the cuff retains conventional buckles.
