BCA Tracker S Avalanche Transceiver 2027

We like the Tracker S because it keeps the everyday interface simple without leaving out useful tools for more complex searches. The real-time display is familiar and direct, while Big Picture and Signal Suppression give you additional options when multiple signals are involved. It's a sensible choice for backcountry users who value straightforward controls over extra electronic customization.

Consider Another Option If

You prefer motion-sensing automatic return-to-transmit functionality, software upgrade capability, or a different battery system.

• Recreational ski touring and splitboarding
• Backcountry users who prefer a straightforward digital interface
• Riders looking for multiple-burial search functions without extensive configuration
• Users who prefer replaceable alkaline batteries

• Real-Time Directional Display: Provides visual distance and directional information as the transceiver processes a received signal.
• Big Picture Mode: Offers an overview of detected transmitting signals to help assess a multiple-burial situation.
• Signal Suppression: Temporarily suppresses the strongest signal to help focus on another transmitting beacon.
• Auto Revert Mode: Can automatically return the device from search to transmit after a defined interval; this model does not use motion sensing.
• Temperature-Resistant LED Display: Maintains BCA's familiar digital display format for mountain use.
• Close Proximity Indicator: Alerts the user when transmitting signals are close together.

Does the Tracker S have motion-sensing Auto Revert?
