BCA Float E2-35 Avalanche Airbag

We like the E2-35 for frequent touring because the electronic system removes the refill step from practice deployments and travel. The volume is also well suited to a full day, with enough room for changing conditions without feeling like an expedition pack.

Consider Another Option If: Choose a compressed-air system if simplicity and lower upfront cost are your priorities, or a larger pack if you regularly carry overnight equipment or professional gear.

• Full-day ski touring and backcountry snowboarding
• Backcountry users who want an avalanche airbag integrated into their touring pack
• Skiers and snowboarders carrying avalanche rescue equipment

• Alpride E2 supercapacitor system can be recharged electronically and supports practice deployments without replacing a cartridge.
• Side Stash and Back Stash access keep frequently used items easier to reach on the move.
• Dedicated avalanche-tool storage separates shovel and probe from the main compartment.
• Removable ski, snowboard and compression straps let you adapt the exterior carry.
• BC Link and hydration compatibility suit regular backcountry use.

No. An avalanche airbag is additional safety equipment and does not replace avalanche education, terrain management, a transceiver, shovel, probe or companion-rescue skills.
