BCA Float E2 45L Airbag

When the gear list gets longer, the E2 45 gives you room without giving up the convenience of an electronic system. We especially like the combination of high capacity, quick-access storage and an expandable roll top for guiding, patrol work and bigger touring objectives.

Consider Another Option If: Choose the E2-35 or another smaller airbag pack if most of your tours are single-day outings and you do not need the extra capacity.

• Long tours, professional use and overnight objectives
• Backcountry users who want an avalanche airbag integrated into their touring pack
• Skiers and snowboarders carrying avalanche rescue equipment

• Alpride E2 supercapacitor system avoids compressed-air cylinder refills.
• Expandable roll top adds flexibility for bulky or variable loads.
• Side Stash, Back Stash and side access help reach gear without fully unpacking.
• Dedicated avalanche-tool and snowsaw storage keeps rescue equipment organized.
• Removable ski, snowboard and compression straps adapt the pack to the objective.

Does this airbag replace a transceiver, shovel and probe?

No. An avalanche airbag is additional safety equipment and does not replace avalanche education, terrain management, a transceiver, shovel, probe or companion-rescue skills.

What airbag system does it use?

Alpride E2 electronic supercapacitor.
