Black Diamond Half Dome Climbing Helmet - Women

We like the Half Dome Women's for its practical fit, especially the extra room for a ponytail. It keeps the straightforward features of the regular Half Dome, with an adjustment dial that's easy to use before heading up a route.

Consider Another Option If

You don't need the ponytail-friendly design, require a different head-size range or want a lighter helmet for alpine climbing.

• Sport climbing: Regular days at the crag.
• Traditional climbing: Everyday rock routes.
• Multi-pitch climbing: Climbers who value a simple, adjustable fit.

• Ponytail-friendly shell: Provides additional room for tied-back hair.
• One-handed dial: Allows quick adjustment.
• Durable construction: ABS shell with an EPS foam interior.
• Low-profile headlamp clips: Convenient attachment without excess bulk.
• Adjustable chin strap: Helps fine-tune the fit.

Is the women's Half Dome just a smaller version?

No. It has a ponytail-friendly shell shape and is offered in S/M. Choosing the right helmet still comes down to head circumference and how it fits your head.
