Marker Griffon X 13 Ski Bindings

What catches our attention with the Griffon X 13 is how low it sits on the ski. Rather than adding more binding, Marker has brought the boot closer to the ski, giving this new Griffon a direct, compact feel while keeping the versatile 4–13 range that works for a broad group of stronger skiers.

Consider Another Option If: You need compatibility with ISO 9523 touring soles, your required release setting falls outside the 4–13 range, or keeping binding weight to a minimum matters more than the low-profile X-Series platform.

• All-mountain and freeride skiing
• Freestyle and park skiing
• Advanced and expert skiers
• Skiers who prefer a low, direct connection to the ski

• Low X-Series Platform: Positions the boot close to the ski for direct power transmission and precise control.
• Integrated X-Brake: Integrates the brake into the heel plate, helping reduce overall stand height.
• TP Elite X Toe: Uses a compact construction designed for precise power transfer.
• Inter Pivot X Heel: Complements the low-profile toe with a freeride-oriented heel design.
• Stainless-Steel AFD: Provides the gliding interface required for consistent release with compatible boot soles.

What is different about the Griffon X 13 compared with a traditional Griffon 13?

The X-Series design places the boot considerably closer to the ski. Marker lists a 14 mm stand height at the heel, with the X-Series toe sitting at 9 mm, creating a lower and more direct interface.

Does the Marker Griffon X 13 work with GripWalk boots?

Yes. It is compatible with adult Alpine ISO 5355 and GripWalk ISO 23223 boot soles. It is not listed for ISO 9523 touring soles.

What brake widths are available?

Marker lists 90, 105 and 120 mm brake widths for the Griffon X 13. Choose a brake width appropriate for the waist width of your ski.
