2027 Nordica Unleashed 106 Skis

The new Unleashed 106 is noticeably more playful than previous generations while remaining impressively composed when conditions get rough. It's the kind of ski that encourages you to slash, smear and explore the mountain, yet still feels planted when it's time to open it up.

Consider Another Option If:

You spend most of your season carving groomers. You're looking for a lightweight touring ski. You prefer a very directional, hard-charging ski over a playful freeride feel.

• Powder skiing
• Freeride skiing
• Tree skiing
• Resort powder days
• Soft snow
• Advanced to expert skiers

Drift Lock Technology

A strategically placed metal strip underfoot increases stability and edge hold while preserving the ski's playful, surfy character.

Freeride Flow Shape

A redesigned rocker profile and updated tip and tail shape improve maneuverability, float and fluidity in soft snow.

Lite Performance Wood Core

A lightweight poplar wood core provides lively energy and responsiveness without unnecessary weight.

Carbon Stringers

Carbon reinforcement adds pop and precision while keeping the ski energetic and stable.

True Tip Technology

By extending the wood core farther into the tip and reducing heavy ABS plastic, Nordica improves maneuverability while reducing swing weight.

Sandwich Sidewall Construction

Delivers reliable edge grip, precise power transfer and long-term durability.

Who is the Unleashed 106 designed for?

Advanced and expert skiers looking for a playful freeride ski that remains stable in powder, chopped snow and technical terrain.

Is it a powder ski or an all-mountain ski?

Both. Its 106 mm waist provides excellent float while remaining versatile enough for everyday resort skiing.

Can I mount touring bindings?

Yes. Many skiers pair it with hybrid bindings like the Salomon Shift² for a 50/50 setup.

Does it carve well on groomers?

Yes. While it excels off-piste, the updated construction offers impressive edge hold and confidence on firm snow.

What's new for 2027?

The Unleashed 106 receives an all-new shape, Freeride Flow rocker profile and Drift Lock Technology for a more playful yet more stable ride.
