Ortovox Peak 32 S Pack - Unisex

The Ortovox PEAK 32 S is a multifunctional high altitude backpack for demanding alpinists with short back lengths who are looking for a robust, versatile and comfortable backpack for all occasions.

The wide, padded shoulder and hip straps and the close-fitting, full-contact back reinforced with metal struts of the unique SWISSWOOL 3D BACK SYSTEMS, which distributes the load evenly on the back, ensure high wearing comfort. For optimal climate regulation on the contact surfaces, the back, shoulder and hip straps are lined with a SWISSWOOL wool fleece that reliably absorbs water vapor and dries quickly. The PEAK 32 S also scores with a separate safety compartment, numerous attachment options for rope, ice axe, helmet, skis, snowboard and poles, as well as a side crampon compartment. In the spirit of sustainability, the two main outer materials are made of 100% and 50% recycled polyamide, which makes the backpack extremely robust, resistant and durable.

BACK SYSTEM: SWISSWOOL FULL CONTACT
What makes this backpack so special is the back system made from pressed Swiss wool. As with the clothing, mountaineers benefit from the wool’s unique moisture and microclimate management, making it feel comfortable and dry on the back. Thanks to the wool, the back of the backpack can absorb almost 30 times more moisture than a comparable back made from foam and is almost 7 % more breathable. A further advantage of wool is that the surface of the back system dries faster. The full contact back fits closely to the body and offers optimum weight distribution. The back design consists of two aluminum struts that offer high stability and guarantee great comfort, even when the backpack is heavily loaded.

Vertical Addiction ships orders via Canada Post expedited service with tracking and $100 insurance included. Delivery times vary: 2–3 business days within Alberta/BC, 3–4 days to Saskatchewan/Manitoba, and up to 9 days for eastern provinces. U.S. orders may take 7–15 business days due to customs. Expedited shipping is available upon request.

Returns are accepted on regular-priced items within 10 business days, provided they are unused and in original condition with tags and packaging. Sale items and climbing/safety gear are final sale. Customers must contact the store for a return authorization (RA#) and are responsible for return shipping. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Warranty claims for defective items can be directed to the store for manufacturer processing.

How do you ship?
All the orders are shipped with Canada Post. We use their Expedited service which offers a tracking number and $100 insurance. Depending on your location, you can expect you parcel do take between 2 to 8 business days to get to you once shipped. Here's a rough estimate: 

• Alberta and British-Columbia: 2-3 business days
• Sasakatchewan-Manitoba: 3-4 business days
• Ontario and Quebec: 6-8 business days
• Maritimes: 7-9 business days

If you are ordering from the USA, you can expect between 7 and 15 business days before you see your order. That is because sometimes, the duty clearance takes time to process.

Can I get my order faster?
Yes you can. If you want your order to ship faster, you can leave us a note when you do your purchase online. We will then get a quote from Canada Post and will contact you with the shipping costs. Please note that we are not responsible for shipping costs when you want it expedited. You will have to cover all the cost for this shipping method. 

Do you ship internationally?
We can. If you live outside Canada or the United-States of America, you can send us an email with the item you would like buy and your full address and we can get a quote from different courriers. Once we have an idea of the shipping cost, we will confirm with you the amount and then, we can proceed with phone order.
