Salewa Wildfire 2 Approach Shoe - Women

A women’s lightweight, agile and precise tech approach shoe with a recycled mesh upper fabric and a 360° protective TPU rand.

Meet the Salewa Wildfire 2—built for women who want confidence, precision, and comfort on technical terrain.

Crafted with a breathable recycled synthetic upper and PFC-free lining, it keeps your feet cool while reducing environmental impact. A reinforced TPU toe rand adds durable protection against rocks and scree, so you can move freely through rugged landscapes.

The POMOCA® outsole with Butylic rubber delivers reliable grip on both wet and dry rock, giving you the traction you need for scrambles and mixed mountain terrain. When things get more technical, the Switchfit system lets you quickly adjust from hike mode to climb mode for enhanced precision on small edges.

Designed for a secure, women-specific fit, the Wildfire 2 wraps your foot comfortably while maintaining sensitivity and control. A cushioned EVA midsole absorbs impact on long approaches, while climbing lacing and a Kevlar® cable system provide a dialed-in fit for technical movement.

Best for: mountain approaches, scrambling, and easy alpine climbs
