Why does the Attack Hybrid use two toe pieces?

Each toe is optimized for a different job: the pin toe is used for climbing and the Attack alpine toe for descending.

In alpine mode it works with compatible Alpine, Touring and GripWalk boots. Touring mode requires tech/PIN inserts.

How is the Hybrid 14 different from the Hybrid 11?
